Join the Oklahomans for Equality Board
Are you passionate about building a stronger, more inclusive Oklahoma? Oklahomans for Equality is seeking community members who are ready to share their time, talents, and lived experiences to help guide our mission and support 2SLGBTQIA+ Oklahomans.
Serving on the OKEQ Board is an opportunity to help shape the future of our organization, strengthen our programs, and ensure diverse voices are represented in our leadership. We are committed to incorporating a wide range of perspectives as we navigate the challenges and opportunities facing our community.
Interested in serving? Please complete the Board Interest Form by July 19th. Interviews will be conducted throughout the month of August.
Board terms are two years and may be renewed, at the discretion of the Executive Director and Governance Committee, for up to three consecutive terms, allowing for a maximum of six years of service.
Please note that there are a limited number of board seats available. Candidates who are not selected this cycle may be considered for future openings.
Questions? Contact Governance Committee Chair Jordan Watkins at jordanfayewatkins@gmail.com.
Your voice, experience, and leadership can help build a more equitable Oklahoma. We hope you'll consider joining us.
