Pride Across the Plains | March 28th
Pride Across the Plains is a first-of-its-kind gathering designed to support queer and trans people in rural communities who are leading the charge to create Pride festivals in their towns.
Across Oklahoma and other rural states, Pride festivals are lifelines where 2SLGBTQ+ people find visibility, affirmation, and community. Yet rural Pride organizers face unique challenges: limited resources, geographic isolation, pushback from opponents, and fewer support systems.
