Nancy & Joe McDonald Rainbow Library
Named in honor of longtime equality advocates Nancy and Joe McDonald, the Nancy & Joe McDonald Rainbow Library has been a part of the Dennis R. Neill Equality Center since 1999. Nancy McDonald, a former National President of PFLAG and past leader of PFLAG Tulsa, has been a dedicated advocate for 2SLGBTQIA+ rights, including testifying before the U.S. Congress. She was also the first recipient of the OKEQ Lifetime Achievement Award.
About the Library
The Rainbow Library is home to more than 3,500 2SLGBTQIA+ titles available for community members to explore and check out. Books are organized by category to make it easy to find what you're looking for.
