Susan (screening and talkback)

The film centers around Susan Suchan, a Tulsa woman who experienced a mid-life nightmare when she was diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia (the same dementia that Bruce Willis has). Over a span of several years, a film crew followed Susan as her disease progressed, affecting the dynamics with her family, friends, and longtime partner, Shar. Susan had a wicked sense of humor, which helped her communicate her lived experience with FTD and connect with others going through the same thing.
