Gender Outreach Support Group
Every Wednesday from 7 pm to 9 pm.
The program provides support, education and social opportunities for all transgender and intersex individuals (18+). For your first meeting, please arrive at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday to meet with one of the group facilitators. Please call 918-743-4297 for more information.
Affirm Youth Support Group
Every Friday of the Month from 6 pm to 7 pm.
AFFIRM! A Cognitive Behavioral Therapy-based program is now available through Oklahomans for Equality. This program is designed to support LGBTQ+ youth in managing stress and promoting overall well-being.
AFFIRM interventions are designed to meet the unique needs of LGBTQ+ clients. Collaborating with LGBTQ+ youth and adult community partners, we have developed practice models that ensure our interventions are tailored to the experiences and challenges faced by this community. With AFFIRM, you can trust that you are receiving care that is both effective and empathetic.
Youth ages 13-17. Attendees must have parental support to attend and must speak to the group facilitator before attending. Contact Lily Piña at 918.938.6537 opt 1 for more information.
Non-Binary, Gender Fluid, Gender Non-Conforming Support Group
Second Wednesday of the Month from 7 pm to 9 pm.
Support group for non-binary, gender-queer, gender-fluid, and other individuals (18+) who identify outside of the gender binary and those that are questioning. Oklahomans for Equality is hosting a name change clinic focusing on those who are starting the name change process and those interested in doing so soon. Joshua Payton will be the lawyer assisting us. No appointment required.
Josh has eight years experience as a practicing attorney and six years in the entertainment industry working for Celebrity Attractions. My desire is to apply my legal and business experience to serve at the Equality Center. I may not immediately know the answer to a question, but I pledge to walk in solidarity with those seeking clarity until we have an answer.

Diversity Center of Oklahoma in Oklahoma City is bridging gaps in complete wrap around community services by partnering with a variety of community agencies and putting them under one roof at our Gender Diverse and LGBTQ Community Resource Center. Providing resources in one location by agencies who specifically provide services to Gender Diverse & LGBTQ+ communities increases persons ability to receive not only quality care from culturally sensitive, also reducing delays in service. The agencies at the Diversity Center of Oklahoma work in a partnership with one another to reduce persons from falling out of service increasing the effectiveness of treatment.
